As a loving parent to my rescue dog, Rosie, and Darcy, I know just how important it is to provide our furry friends with the care and attention they deserve. 

​

Both my dogs have always been anxious at salons. No matter where I took them, they were often scared and would come home stressed, sometimes shaking for days. I struggled to find a place that could meet both my expectations for their grooming styles and, more importantly, their emotional needs. 

​

This led me to learn dog grooming myself. My aim was to create a better grooming experience for my pups.

 

As I began my grooming journey, I volunteered at various salons to learn from experienced groomers. Unfortunately, I quickly realised that very few groomers shared my approach to care. I also recognised how difficult it was for some dogs to feel comfortable in busy, noisy, and sometimes chaotic salons. From this, I found my inspiration to create a space where dogs could feel safe, loved, and at ease while being groomed.

 

My mission is to offer each dog high-quality service, beautiful Korean-style cuts, and a grooming experience that is calm and fear-free. I want every dog to enjoy their time with us and to leave feeling pampered, not stressed.

At Very Important Pooch, your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I’m committed to creating a peaceful, welcoming environment where every VIP receives the utmost care and attention.

Hello, friends! I'm Rosie, the barketing manager here at VIP Grooming Salon! You’ll often see me checking in on our VIP customers to make sure everything is running smoothly and that our pet stylist is working her magic. While I may occasionally take a nap on the job (because, well, barketing is hard work), rest assured that if anything out of the ordinary happens, I’m on high alert, keeping a watchful eye to ensure all of our VIPs are safe and sound.

When I was a pup, I was a bit shy and nervous—especially about grooming salons. The noisy, busy places filled with cages made me feel scared and overwhelmed. My hooman could tell I wasn’t happy, and as any caring pet parent would, she wanted to make sure I felt safe and comfortable whenever I had to get groomed.

So, she decided to create her own salon, a special place just for pups like me—one where we’re treated with kindness and care, where we can relax and enjoy the experience. That’s how Very Important Pooch (VIP) was born! Now, every dog that walks through our door gets treated like royalty, just like I do.

Whether you’re a little nervous about grooming or just looking for a place to be pampered, we’ll make sure your experience is nothing short of amazing. I’m living proof that grooming doesn’t have to be stressful or scary—it can be fun and relaxing!

WOOF! Hey there, I’m Darcy, the official security pup at VIP Grooming Salon, and I take my job very seriously—protecting our salon and all our VIP customers is my top priority! Don’t be alarmed if I bark when you arrive—I’m just super excited to greet all our furry friends and their humans. Even though I’m a big guy, I’m known as a total softie. I’m gentle, friendly, and always eager to make new pals!

I’m thrilled to be part of this grooming salon because it means I get to meet new human friends AND doggy pals every single day! My official role is to welcome everyone with a wagging tail and ensure all my paw-some friends feel safe and comfortable. I’m a natural at putting everyone at ease.

​

When I’m not on security duty, you’ll often find me having a blast playing soccer in the backyard. It’s one of my absolute favourite activities! And guess what? I’d love to invite our VIP doggy customers to join me for a game during their grooming breaks. After all, fun and play are part of the VIP experience!
